CHILL OUT SPARKS HOT DEALS AT EXCHANGE FLAGS

18 September 07

Ibiza angels and fire-eaters were the order of the day as UK Land and Property and Pochin hosted a spectacular event to launch Exchange Flags, the birthplace of Liverpool's commercial district. At the event, Simon Parker, managing director of UK Land and Property welcomed new tenants Knight Frank and Strategic Back Office Solutions (SBOS), which have taken a combined total of over 1,022 sq m (11,000 sq ft) on ten-year leases at Horton House.

Organised by Roland Dransfield PR, guests had an opportunity to see the newly refurbished Horton House as they sampled canapés by Heathcotes and supped champagne in one of Liverpool's most prestigious business addresses. The launch marks the completion of the ownership of Exchange Flags for the joint venture, having purchased Horton House in June last year and Walker House last month.

On the launch, Simon Parker of UK Land and Property comments: "In terms of the refurbishment our vision was to provide a high quality modern contemporary interior within the classical façade. The event has without doubt reflected this vision and, in turn the Flags' stature. We have had a number of attendees citing it as one of Liverpool's most impressive events.

"Knight Frank and SBOS's decision to sign-up alongside Brabners Chaffe Street and Ministry of Defence means over 11,613 sq m (125,000 sq ft) of accommodation has now been let over the past 12 months, further establishing Exchange Flags as the heart of Liverpool's commercial business district."
