COMMERCE FLOURISHES AT EXCHANGE FLAGS
3 June 09
Joint venture developers UK Land & Property and Pochin have welcomed specialist regeneration consultancy, Amion Consulting, as the latest tenant to sign up to Exchange Flags in Liverpool city centre.
Previously based in Silkhouse Court on Tithebarn Street, Amion chose Horton House ahead of several new and refurbished Grade 'A' office schemes in the city centre. The company has taken 308 sq m (3,315 sq ft) on the tenth floor, which offers extensive views across the city, and will join an impressive list of tenants including Brabners Chaffe Street, Regus, Knight Frank and Deloittes. This latest deal means that Horton House is now 90% let, with Walker House offering availability from 1,500 sq ft up to 130,000 sq ft.
On the letting, Ian Sherry, director of UK Land & Property commented: "Exchange Flags offers efficient modern, open plan office accommodation, – a package which was perfect to an outfit like Amion. We are fortunate to be in a position to offer a range of office space from 1,500 sq ft to 130,000 sq ft. As lettings continue to happen, we have, and will continue to work with prospective tenants to ensure that the deal works for all parties."
Tim Johnston, Partner Director at AMION Consulting, added: "Exchange Flags had been completely regenerated and is an heritage asset for the city. As specialists in regeneration, we considered that this scheme demonstrated a good fit with our business and culture. Horton House presented excellently and the further upgrade of Exchange Flags in which it sits was an added attraction."
Helen Moss at King Sturge concluded: "The arrival of Amion Consulting once again highlights the quality of accommodation available at Exchange Flags. This letting proves that Exchange Flags is the premier office address in Liverpool and is able to compete with any other office scheme. Despite the economic downturn we are pleased to report strong levels of interest in Exchange Flags as companies prepare for the upturn in the market."
