About Exchange Flags | Introduction
UK Land & Property made us an integral part of the team from the start and, together with their design team, worked hard to understand our business needs to develop and procure a fit-out design that will greatly improve the way we work and the environment we work in. We are pleased with the way Walker House has taken shape. UK Land and Property has been nothing other than extremely professional and efficient throughout.

Dave Southall, Project Manager, FMSSC, Ministry of Defence

Exchange Flags is a beautifully restored landmark property at the heart of Liverpool's rejuvenated business district. The quality of its accommodation confirms its standing as Liverpool's best office address.

Acquired in 2006 by UK Land & Property and Pochin, as joint venture partners, Exchange Flags offers in excess of 360,000sqft of high quality refurbished office accommodation together with a range of retail and leisure units. Walker House and Horton House, the two distinct elements that comprise the office element, flank an impressive open square which is enclosed by Liverpool Town Hall.

The elegance of the original architecture has been matched by a sympathetic yet stylish refurbishment which has set a benchmark for Grade A office accommodation across the city.

Brabners Chaffe Street, solicitors, were quick to acknowledge the quality on offer and housed their new headquarters in Horton House. Amongst others, they have been followed by Regus, Deloittes and Knight Frank.

The Ministry of Defence took occupation of some 70,000sqft in early 2009.
